Online game maintenance for subsequent releases. Added interactive features to improve the experience year after year, including a quest using augmented reality to find virtual items placed on sites.
For its 2021 edition, the Carnaval de Québec offered the new Scotiabank Ice & Snow Route activity to its carnival-goers. This activity having been a great success, it has been renewed for the 2022 edition. This online game accompanies the hundreds of snow and ice sculptures scattered on the different Carnival sites in order to bring an interactive side to the artworks route. Each sculpture has a QR code which, when scanned by the player, earns them points. Wonderful prizes are drawn among those who manage to reach new levels and rise in the rankings. The goal? Motivate people to explore the Carnival sites and activities with family and friends and prove that they are "stronger than the cold"!
