Most recent mandate

Complete overhaul of the overall visual environment

"La Saint-Patrick à Québec" team mandated Beet to renew the image of the event so that it better represents its new character objective, that is to say, offering more activities to celebrate the Irish culture in several neighborhoods of Quebec. As the Parade was no longer the only event organized, the first stage of the project consisted of creating a new logo, accompanied by its brand territory, which would replace the old one, which had become too specific, and would now represent the entirety of the festivities. The second crucial step was the design of a website to showcase a much more comprehensive calendar of activities and additional information on Irish history and culture. Flexible over time, because it is built with repeatable blocks, the new platform also includes two registration forms, formerly external, for participants and volunteers.

Development of an image and a brand territory for the new version of the festivities

For the 2024 edition

A personality to represent

Festive, unique et accessible

The branding creates an elegant impression that remains accessible and enjoyable for all target audiences, using a style that will appeal to the whole family and which represents the festive, unifying and historic side of the event. It is also vibrant and lively, accompanied by elements recalling Irish culture and the values that define it while avoiding excessive contrasts and clichés. It attracts attention without forgetting its roots and even integrates the charm of the environment in which it operates, i.e. Quebec City, to make it unique and distinctive.

The goal that guides our steps

Bringing an event rich in history into modernity and respect your culture without distorting it

In order to harmonize the traditional side with a generally contemporary design and highlight Irish culture in Quebec, the new brand image includes a revisited version of the flag's color palette, a duo of accessible typographies with a unique accent, illustrations representing the charm of the host city and a Celtic infinity knot in the form of a cross.

Harmonious variations

Create a coherent and adaptive ecosystem

In addition to the website, another digital platform, in the form of a quest to complete, is being added this year to the promotion of the event: "La Magie des Farfadets".

Slightly adapted for a more family-friendly and playful look, the branding is easily recognizable and easily creates a family feel. The application presents how the visual territory can be used to design additional elements to the graphic charter:

  • Illustrative style of characters and accessories, in the player avatar customization feature
  • Functional elements like buttons, progressions and animations and transitions
  • Secondary logotype with visible link with the main logotype
