The Effigy Rally SAIL
Creation of an online game using augmented reality to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Carnaval de Québec, allowing carnival-goers to catch Bonhomme's effigies in the real environment of the city.

Utilizing knowledge gained from previous editions of the application to enhance the augmented reality experience and make it the focus of a new edition.
In order to highlight the history of one of the most significant winter events on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, Beet's web team, in collaboration with the Carnaval de Québec, has designed "Le Rallye des effigies SAIL", an entertaining web application using augmented reality. The goal is to motivate carnival-goers to appreciate the city of Quebec and its winter splendor. Thanks to 3D scans of each effigy used by the Carnaval in the past seven decades, the game allows players to catch Bonhomme in all his forms in the real environment of Quebec. Simultaneously, players can discover important places and neighborhoods of the city. For each effigy found, an informative capsule is unlocked to learn more about the significant events that have shaped the Carnaval tradition. An interactive personalized map has been created to clearly and effectively present the location of the effigies and display the player's progress in achieving their goal: capturing as many effigies as possible. Wonderful prizes are drawn among those who successfully reach new levels.

Create a new seamless schedule platform
The Carnaval de Québec also commissioned the Beet team to modernize its schedule platform that year. Thus, a new style more in line with the brand's identity could be applied to this platform, which was then used for the Rallye des Effigies SAIL.
In this way, the digital ecosystem of the Carnaval becomes increasingly homogeneous and identifiable to users.
